Welcome 2009, I am ready!!!

Welcome to the new year! Yes I would like to welcome the new year and say goodbye to 2008. I have not had a real good year and am so ready to just put the hole year in the past. My goals for 2009 are to just have a good year with little amounts of stress, to surround myself with loved ones, be the best friend I can to everyone and to be the very best mommy! So for everyone that is going to get those things done on there check lists this year I wish you the best, cant wait to read what your goals are and I will be following your blogs to read about your exciting ride to getting them done in 2009. Yes that's a challenge girls! I cant wait hear every ones goals and lets do our bests to keep each other on track to getting them done.

Thanks to everyone that came out and helped me party on Friday.

Q: How did I feel the next day

A: Like Death, I felt so terrible and I think it takes a full two days to recover.

A: Oh yes lots, well..... up till the part where I got sick lol

Q: How am I enjoying my Birthday?

A: Its a good day everyone is happy and healthy, but I am at work and can think of many other places I would much rather be.

Mine turned out pretty good. Sister didn't mess up the stockings to bad but she did call and ask for my help Friday afternoon. Glad she did because then at least I knew it got done. Here's a run down of Christmas day Shower, Gifts, play, pickup, play some more, pick up again cook, play some more pick up again, eat, clean up, chat, play some more, pick up again, Kyler fall asleep on the floor guess that means its bed time, Tehgan gets bath and her tummy rubbed then its bed time for everyone. Wait almost bed time I left the coffee pot on, Turn it off. ahhhhhh...

now its bed time!!! So glad I have 365 more days to plan for next Christmas.

No really we had a fun day with family and friends and that's what Christmas is all about.

Holiday STRESS!!!

So a few weeks ago I thought I was being smart and asking my sister for a little help for Christmas this year. I asked her to do the stocking!! Now I am thinking that was not so smart after all because the fear of what is going to happen is killing me!! I have this feeling she is going to forget and I will be rushing to do things at the last minute...... And you know all that Holiday Stress we could all do with out.

And as for my poor naked tree well... She is Dressed to impress, she looks stunning in her Silver and White Balls and Blue LED Lights with a soft festive snowflake skirt. LOL does she sound like a runway model ??? But really the tree is up and looking good and as for the GRINCH (haha Brian) he cant say much anymore because I think my holiday spirit might be rubbing off a little, Shhhhhh don't say anything but I was able to get him to wrap gifts with me.

Now really all that's left is the cooking, well and the last minute walmart dash I am sure I will have to run to get the stocking that my sister is going to forget.

Well I have been tagged and I am going to try and play this game but in order form me to play I had to use my work computer because its the one computer with 4 folders.

lol so this is what I can up with looks to be a Red Ford 80's model truck from GMC of Chadron. Now don't all go jumping for joy and wanting to bye it as I am sure it is sold by now.

Poor Naked Tree Part II

Ha! so I am so glad all of you liked me story, but its not over! My poor tree is still naked :( I had planed on going out to wal-mart after work to get new lights when guess what? IT SNOWED and not just a little but a lot. I am glad that I left work when I did because the roads were terrible YUCK I hate to drive in that stuff. When I got home I was feeling pretty good about myself because I had braved the roads and made it "score" LOL, but walked in my house only to see my poor sad naked tree again!

The new goal is to get lights tonight and dress that baby up!!

Poor Naked Tree

I was doing the Christmas thing a putting up our tree yesterday, I got it all up a wow it was looking great. So I went back to the table to get the lights out and plugged them in and wouldn't you know they didn't work. Well Poo! So trying to do the smart thing I pulled out all our light and man we got a lot of lights and well Poo again not one full strand works. Everyone knows that if you can replace the light that is out the hole strand is going to light up RITE???? Nope that's a lie, I must have replaced a hole strand of lights with working lights I promise and still nothing. So then wouldn't you know the Grinch (Brian) showed up and not only made fun of me but sure didn't try and help. Now that I was good and upset about my poor naked tree I packed up all the Christmas stuff, jammed it into the closet shut the door thinking HA I showed those lights who's boss!!! but to tell you the truth about the hole thing I really don't feel any better about it. So as soon as I can make it out to good old Wal-Mart I going to get all new lights and stuff for my tree. Then I can just throw all that old stuff away and really show those lights who's is boss. LOL

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I just want to wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING! As I am sure everyone is going to be busy tomorrow I wanted to to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving today. I have all the fam coming over to my house for the holiday so that means that I got some cleaning to do and lots of cooking so I know I will be busy, wow maybe even a little overwhelmed.

I almost forgot to thank Shay for the award. But I am going to have to pass it up this time because I cant play by the rules so that would not be fair. But Thanks for thinking of me when choosing who to pass the award on to.

Wow where have I been? It just dawned on me today that it has almost been 2 week sense my last post. To be honest with everyone there is just not really much for me to talk about right now. Sorry!!!

But here we go with a quick non personal update

Both Tehgan and Kyler are doing well. Tehgan is starting to fill out and is spending a little more time awake for us to play with her. Kyler is just a little mommy, its so cute but I only wish she was as much help as she thinks she is. Kyler has also been going back to Jody's more I know she is loving that she talks about how much fun she has there all the time. Other then the everyday stuff not much is going on in our little family.

I am lovin all of it

I am loving everything that comes with being a new mommy. I loved when Kyler was a baby too but with being a first time mom came a lot off stress and a lot of unknowns. with the second one I have been way more comfortable and that allows me to enjoy both of my beautiful little girls. I am enjoying staying home with them and am not really looking froward to going back to work anytime soon. Good thing i have some time off LOL... Also with the help of a great sitter and friend of mine that Kylers goes to, I still get some of my house work done but most importantly I get some one on one bonding time with Tehgan.

I was told today by an old friend that she never sees me anymore, not anywhere! well i gave her a dumb, confused, blank look and said "Well I don't go anywhere" I really don't anymore I go to work, the doctors, a friends house or two, the store, and family friendly events and that it. Might sound lame for a person of my age but to be honest I wouldn't trade my babies for the world.

Hope everyone had a good Halloween, I know Kyler and I did and we got some really good candy. I am glad that it has come and is now gone because my back was killing me, I had joked that all that walking would put me into labor, Well it didn't but it felt like I was HAHA.

Quick Up-date

We have had a long week in and out of the doctors office and the Hospital, but the good news is I think that Kylers Night Terrors are a thing of last week. I am sure that there will be more to come but we sure are glad the last few nights have been quiet ... we sure needed the sleep... As for the new Baby we are 38 Weeks, It sure feels good to get this far and know that it is almost over. My big fear now is that she will want to come on Halloween and I really don't want that, I so am looking forward to tasking Kyler Trick or Treating that I don't want to be tied up in the hospital. Wow that sounds so selfish of me to say.

NIGHT TERRORS

Poor Kyler and all of the kids that have to be around her. The poor little girl at daycare that had to take a nap with her today got her hair pulled, I am sure Kyler was asleep when she was pulling this girls hair and I am sure that Kyler felt terrible about hurting her friend after she woke up and realized what she was doing. Kyler has what the doctors told me was night terrors, she has been doing so wonderful with them for months, only had a few and far between, and the night terrors she was having really didn't seem that bad. But the last few day have been bad, she is now not only having them at night but started having them at daycare as well. I hope that it is just stress and I hope most of all it will pass soon.

Now on top of her night terrors and lack of quality sleep due to the dreams I think she is getting sick, with the FLU............... Hmmmm maybe its that shot i had her get????? It don't matter I think for us it is dumb not to get them and I would rather her have a lite case of the flu now then later if you catch my drift.

37 Weeks

37 weeks along now and I am so glad that I am in the final stretch. I am still a believer that I wont go to my due date (Nov. 12th) and my doctor still promises that she wont let me go over but time will tell. I had a doctors appointment today and my doctor says to me "Shauna lets try and buy another week" now for those of you that have been following my progress it is no surprise she would say that because those seem to be her famous words. Lucky for her I am used to it by now and don't feel like kicking her in the teeth anymore. I cant wait for our new baby to get here and I am so excited to have her in my arms and not in my tummy but for now i am just trying to enjoy Kyler.
I think Kyler knows that something is going to happen because she has been such a Mommy's girl the past week or so and has not been sleeping well. the other night she got up and started to cry for her NANA (my mom) I tried to calm her but she acted like i was not even there. Her and I went downstairs and i put her in bed with her NANA, got her a cup a milk, when i gave her the milk she cried out for me "mommy i want you" and started balling. It was like she didn't know I was there until that moment. I really wonder if in her dream she thought she was alone. anyways the point to my story is that she seem nervous about something. did any of you other moms have anything like this when you were expecting your second child? I don't know maybe its just a stage she is going threw.

The Flu Shot

Flu shots, wow strange that it is that time of year already to be getting our flue shots. Kyler is going to get hers today I think I get mine Thursday, it all just seem crazy that its that time of year. Poor Kyler im sure she is going to be mad at me for days about this one. I love the Holiday season but i dont love that its cold and flu season that come along with the holidays. And the SNOW OMG its not snowing yet but i dont think it will be to long before we see it. Wow where has this year gone??? Think about it its almost the year 2009... are you freaked out at all by me pointing that out???

We love The Pumpkin Patch!!! Its is so GREAT of Deb and Jeff to do that for everyone and all the little kids. this is our 2nd year to the pumpkin patch and Kyler just has so much fun out there. As for the public servants, get real. HELP!!!!!

I found out today that there is a site where people blog about our little town. I have not been on it yet only been told about it. Two questions came to mind when I heard about it.

1. Who is the 26year old male that drives around with his mom all day????? I really kind of feel out of the loop on that one, I could figure out who everyone was that I was told about except that one.

2. Who has only been in town for 6 months and knows all this stuff about so many people all ready and is brave enough to post there observations about so many people on the web?????

for some reason in my own little mind I imagine that it is woman.

anyways my plan is to look into this and learn more about it as im not real sure about any of what i was told about it. So if any of you have any info on it please let me know im sure it will help. Also as soon as I figure out what site it is I plan to post it on my blog so all of us can keep up on what is being said and or leave our own comments.

Back to work for me! I have been away from work for a little over a week and as much as I love to be home with Kyler it feels good to be back at work. I dont know how all of you stay at home moms do it, I love my daughter but it sure feels great to not have to watch more anymore cartoons for awhile. I also really missed talking to ADULTS ... Man I felt so cut off from the rest of the world how will I ever deal with 4-6 weeks off when baby get here???? I might just go CRAZY!!

So as i was looking for some fun pictures of Kyler to post it suddenly dawned on me that summer days have come and are now gone. hmmmmmm I think its might be time to get some fall pictures. Man oh Man time sure does go by fast!!!

I am still getting all of this stuff figured out but i thought it would be fun to post some pictures of Kyler. When the new baby gets here i want to know how to do all of this fun stuff so i can better share my girls with other. Life has been crazy lately but I am sooooooo ready for things to get back on track. I am so tired of being sick i just cant wait for baby to get here. Kyler seems really excited too but i really dont think she has any clue what a new baby mean for her.

I just set up my Blog today and am still trying to figure it all out. my goal is to get some fun pic's for everyone to see, I really hope to get this figured out befor baby gets here so I can quick get her first pictures posted for everyone. Wish me LUCK
